Paul Wesley is an amazing actor. The love that Stefan has for Elena is not even measurable. Honestly, the way he fought and clawed to resist. I too get goosebumps every time I see it. Not only were Elena and Damon fighting so hard to help Stefan.. Stefan was fighting the entire time to keep his humanity on and keep his girlfriend and brother safe. Stefan deserves everything in my opinion. He sacrifices so many things so often. It breaks my heart in the most sad and beautiful way... if that makes sense 😂❤️❤️

Paul is such a good actor. I'd recommend watching Tell Me A Story if you havent done so already. But yeah, he shows how much he loves Elena here in how he would rather stab himself to keep himself from feeding off her. ITs so sad when he lost his humanity and I always wondered if he was worried that Klaus might resort to compulsion or even taking his humanity away if he didn't pretend to be the ripper. Stefan's story is so tragic I choke up when I think about it ... sigh.

the "by all means carry on "line at the end is hilarious. Every time Stefan hits rock bottom they fuck him up even more lol. The originals also just make the show very funny with their casual British attitude terrorizing a school full of teenagers

Paul Wesley man , that man is beyond talented , the way he screams “No” at Klaus gave me goosebumps to this day , he was trying sooooo hard to keep his Humanity. Season 3 is a truly a gem and I cannot wait for the episodes to come

Paul Wesley is so freaking outstanding, the fighting of compulsion scene is chilling and heart breaking. Stefan fithing agaist his nature as vampire, as ripper all this time, suppressing it trained him, gave him a sort of strenght that combined with the love he has for his brother and Elena helped him to fight agaist compultion, amazing!! And his face when he turn his humanity off ....only Paul could have done it that convincingly, his eyes went from warm and scared to cold as ice....there are no words to describe It just chills ....

How many times Damon brought that neckles back to Elena, or hold her in his arms taking her back to safety. How tender he can be with her, the scene at the hospital taking off her all the tubes and stopping conteplating for a moment what they've done to her, holding her and taking her home telling her one of his total devotion sentences "I'll never live you again" with his deep blue eyes wide open....I love Damon.

Damon and Katherine in the car....he gave her one seriously hot kiss and than told her "Truth is, you just don't do it for me anymore" Daaaaamn!!! You've just got burned girl!!! 😂 One of the most satifying Damon - Katherine scenes 😁

Rewatching it, I realize how much I love every bits of this episode. A part from Matt suicide....that was crazy 😲😱 But the way this episode was shoot was amazing, the directing, the lighting, the "The Faculty" horror film vibes,...love it!!👌

I find it funny how Damon said that "I wouldn't have done it for you", to Katherine when he'd already done it years ago. Like...that's inaccurate but okay. We literally watched him do it in a couple of the flashbacks in season one.

Now that I think about it if Stefan would've made that deal with Gloria. She would've helped put Klaus and his sister down like Mikael. She hated him and she's a powerful witch. And then he wouldn't have dragged him and this whole episode probably wouldn't have happened. That would've been a way better plan instead of killing her or hoping that Klaus never found out.

When I watched this episode for the first time, I was happy to see how the guys carelessly spend time at the beginning of the episode and prepare pranks at school. But after a couple of minutes, everything was so twisted that I couldn't breathe out until the very end of the episode. A very tense episode with a lot of events. It hurt like hell to watch Stefan. His struggle for his humanity and feelings for Elena is admirable. He has years of experience resisting his essence, but the ancient hybrid is difficult to resist. I worried about him as a close person when I saw his empty eyes when humanity were turned off. A sense of hopelessness came over him.

Damon is very reckless about giving Elena bourbon. At the hospital, a nurse injected her with a very strong sedative. Elena fell asleep immediately after the injection. Such sedatives act very poorly together with alcohol. Plus, they took a lot of blood from Elena. I admire how strong Elena's organism is. Damon must have confused Elena and Alaric. In the last episode, he gave Alaric(!) lemonade(!).😁 And in this episode, he gives Elena bourbon to drink.

Once again, Damon returns the necklace to Elena. Only now, this necklace does not inspire any hope at all. When Elena says, "Where were you, Damon?" I could have cried with her. One of the closest people was not with her in such a difficult situation. Once again, Damon promises her never to leave her. By the way, he fulfilled his promise to always choose her in this episode. As soon as he found out what was going on in Mystic Falls, he didn't hesitate to leave Katherine and Jeremy to return. Sofie, thank you for this reaction. I love the way you see this show. My thoughts often coincide with what you say. I'm waiting for the next episode.

As far in the show he’s good at being a scary sexy good villain “ more than Katrhrine has ever been” I see that a lot of people love him on YouTube. I don’t know if they love him as a villain or is it because there’s something else about him that yet it’s not been shown to me
