That last scene was so emotional. Even though we were disappointed in Lucas throughout the episode, at the end, when he and Keith got into a car accident, we're worried about him and want him to be okay. And the fact that Dan was the one who helped Lucas and Keith and took them to the hospital (and called Lucas his son!) is so ironic, but that's what makes this scene even more powerful. I also share your feelings about Peyton and Lucas, they definitely should have told Brooke, and now it's all going to hell. However, I understand that Peyton is afraid of losing her friend, and I liked her conversation with Haley. She really hates how much pain she's causing Brooke. I also found it interesting when Lucas asked Brooke why she likes him. At such moments (also in the conversation with Keith), I see the old Lucas, and I really hope that he will find himself again. Haley and Nathan were so adorable when he tried to teach her how to throw the ball. I love them so much. And the scenes with Whitey and Nathan were great. Nathan's already making such a big progress, now he just needs to share some of his experience with his brother, maybe? I mean, that would be nice. And yes, Lucas, don't you dare die on us, it's just the first season, and you’re one of the main characters, come on 😅

I Am Not Chamari

I understand that the whole Lucas and Peyton situation is frustrating and watching Lucas be less of the person we know he could be is also frustrating. But, we watched Nathan become a better person and had patience with him, so I give Lucas my grace and patience in this moment as well. I blame Lucas a lot for everything, though. You're right. He should have never dated Brooke and if he wanted to "hide his feelings" he could have done it with literally anyone else. The problem was Brooke was there and he does like her. Just not as much as he is into Peyton and definitely not as much as Brooke likes him. It's really all unfortunate. Through it all, I am still rooting for Lucas and Peyton to find a way to be together, in the right way.
