I always really loved this episode. Marcy is delightfully creepy, and I love Cordy's development here. I always thought that in that last scene with Cordy and Mitch, she wasn't just reverting to form and treating Buffy and Co like losers again. She was covering for them. There was literally no logical reason people would buy them willingly being in each other's orbit, and explaining the truth would mean revealing what they had been doing and what Buffy is, not to mention revealing the existence of the supernatural, so she pretended she wasn't having anything to do with them. I get this from the careful way she looked back at them and steered Mitch smoothly away before he could ask too many questions. I really like what they did with her in this episode.

It’s good they didn’t make the covering up too obvious. No looking back and grinning etc. Willow is just sweet right? Totally forgets Cordy being horrid to her. I loved this episode and I loved your reaction to it, there were so many great bits.. ok a few I got envious. I’ve taken a tons of fashion pictures and sometimes I see hurt in the girl’s eyes. One time I had to stop for a while because I could see it too clearly. When I talked to them, they all had stories of bullying and hate because they were beautiful. No one actually saw them inside and most people expected them to be nasty. I photographed them and made the girls exist in a picture both as a model, although to be honest many girls were just making some extra income, and as a person. I don’t charge anyone, in case you’re wondering. As an experiment I photographed one girl on the Subway in NYC, (from behind) most guys just scanned her, top to bottom like she was just a thing. Personally, if I was a girl, i would get really sick of that. No one cares about the ‘invisible’ people and most people only notice the looks of beautiful people. No one really sees either of them. It’s so messed up cos if you try and do nice things for people they think you’ve got an agenda.

Hey SoFie, so the thing is that in the USA after WWII they got paranoid about the Russians and ‘all things foreign’. The CIA has been messing about in other country’s business since the 50s. The FBI and military have been scooping up anything that looks odd for a long time. The National Security Agency monitors every bit of internet traffic, everywhere, for real. So if there were people with special abilities the Government wants to turn them into weapons. They are the ‘G Men’ the guys in black suits! Men in Black, X-Men, X-Files, Avengers... Shield. Every one is about secret people with special abilities or tech dealing with threats to the USA. I remember this one and your reaction was great!
