August request stream (Patreon)

ETA: Requests closed, poll going up shortly

I will stream on:

the 29th of August, 8pm-10pm UTC

And then, like last time, I will go have breakfast :)

And then I'll continue streaming two hours later, which will be the 30th of August, 12am-2am UTC

(Note to self: Sydney time, this is 30/8, 6am-8am, then 10am-midday)

I'll record the streams and upload a timelapse to youtube for anyone who can't make these times :)

Request guidelines:

  • You can leave a request in the comments up until the 17th of August.
  • Since I'll be spending an hour or more on each request, they can be more complicated than usual :)
    You can request up to 3 characters, you can ask for elaborate outfits or weapons, you can suggest backgrounds etc.
  • Please keep requests sfw
  • Please provide me with visual references + a sentence describing the personality of any characters I'm unfamiliar with. 

On the 18th of August I will put together a poll so you can vote for your favourite requests.

If I feel like a request is not something I'm comfortable spending a significant amount of time drawing, I will apologise, and not include it in the poll, and will suggest that you leave it as a warmup doodle request instead: https://www.patreon.com/posts/39999194

On the final weekend of August I will draw and stream at least the top two requests. I might draw more, it'll depend on how long I spend on each request. If my favourite doesn't make it to the top two requests I might draw it as well :)

On the subject of stuff I'm going to draw I definitely still want to draw the two requests I skipped over last time.

I'm still thinking about roleswapped Sunati And Austen, this is absolutely fascinating to me. I probably won't draw them until I've got them fully settled in my head, but I am spending so much time thinking about them.

If I may, I'd like to request two NPCs, please! Only if no on else has any you need time for. They're from a campaign I run (The one Ryan's wizard is in!) whom the players have grown very fond of and basically adopted. This is a glimpse of a possible future where they both look to be in their mid to upper teens. I sort of picture them cooling down after a sparring session, but you do you! The first, Tsabura, is a drow who uses a short sword and dagger has her hair in braids and tied back. She has dark skin, white hair and grey eyes. She’s in the same style of armor as the reference. Her constant companion, a Turkish Van cat is likely nearby if not cuddling. The second, Althea, is a human who’s taller and seems more built but is very much still a teenager. She hard dark auburn curly hair that looks coarse cut to about her shoulders, but it’s thick and messy, still. She has dark eyes and light olive skin. Her sword looks like a curved, hollow animal horn with holes and a hilt. Rather than armor, she’s wearing a ottomon jacket & romper with sleeved rolled up and a few buttons open. If I can, I'd like to request a D&D character as well! Immeral Nai'lo is an elf/tiefling hybrid, an evil boye. He has pitch black skin and purple cat's eyes. It's not in the ref, but he also has fine white tracery on his arms, horns, and upper body. His clothes are red and white, with gold lining. (second ref image for clothes colours, first ref for pretty much anything else). If you could, he uses his rapier to attack with liquid green fire running down it. very edgy, I know, but you gotta have one edgy character :P

Hey :) Just in case you missed it - this month I changed the way sketch requests - I'll be putting a poll together with all the requests, and people can vote on what they most want to see me draw. So it won't be a matter of finding time to draw them all, it'll be a democracy.
