Lore Buff Guide v3.1, and my absence (Patreon)
Content
Hey folks.
You may have noticed that I've not been around in the past... month? More? I officially put the Patreon on a break at the end of March, which means that I've not been posting but also means that you've not been charged for your support. I've just now realized that Patreon apparently doesn't show that anywhere to anyone, which really sucks. As I mentioned in previous posts, I've been exceptionally busy and my mental health hasn't been great. I've had to turn down some fantastic projects that I would have loved to have done, but that's adulthood in the middle of a pandemic and cyberpunk dystopia, I suppose.
Anyway.
The "vacation mode" is going to remain on for at least another month (through May). This unfortunately means that I'll be missing the 20th Anniversary (!!!) celebrations for my favorite TES game, Morrowind, which, again, really sucks. I will get that Mudcrab merchant print out to Oathmen sometime in the not too distant future, I hope.
What DID I do over the past month? Well, besides a lot of doomscrolling and shitposting, I finally rolled out my updated How to Become a Lore Buff guide and then an update to it. I started this project earlier in the year and solicited feedback from the community to make sure that it is as relevant in 2022 as it was when I originally wrote it in 2010.
In addition to some helpful new images, a whole lot of rewriting, several new sections, and a cartload of fixed links, the guide now has its own website: ladynerevar.com/lorebuff
