I always considered Jedha as a Star Wars version of Jerusalem and that thought was reinforced seeing them lean so hard into it with all of the religions converging on a single holy place.

Interesting that the Visions comic basically had an alternate version of Mace Windu. A purple lightsaber wielding jedi who got hit by lighting, fell from a great height, and who says "this party's over". Weirdly we got our "what if Mace Windu survived?" story after all...
