...i don't know quite what to say... so forgive me for being all this... 1. timestamp for the episode reaction, around 17:15. Very long intro covering our break, the show and a little bit on the state of things in the world (again I love you all dearly and hope you stay safe and live your best) 2. I'm going to spend a lot more time with this here soon cause i want to make a long form discussion style video on.. this episode, and my reactoin and well... Mami. Don't know if its going to be super insightful but. i want to do it... 3. This episode and show... which i was warned about profusely over and over again since literally the first day i heard about it. A show which i have been spoiled on and prepared and psyched myself up for.. for much longer than just the break we had... Completely and totally threw me. I want to apologize first off cause for me personally as a creator i felt i was letting everyone down with my reaction in the moment... i almost just kind of completely brushed it off.. and it really bothers me that i did. It wont bother everyone but it bothers me... Legit after the video ended i just sat there an thought about everything, obviously my biggest thing for a while was the denial only to have my doubt grow more and more, constantly stepping into lines of thought that confirmed it for me 'maybe it actually is real". So that's where it started... a man slowly devolving into a nervous trainwreck over a character he's known for approximately 12 seconds. Seriously.. the only other character i've wanted to make an hour long video talking about is michiru.... and that's... michiru! Mami is mami and has been on screen for maybe 20 minutes total... It started there... and then just got worse and worse throughout the night, as i got more doubtful of my original idea, the thing that made me take the moment like a champ just faded faster and faster and more and more and by the end of the night i was full on crying over the end of this episode... again.. for this character i barely know anything about, this show I PREPARED FOR AND WAS SPOILED THE EVER LIVING FUCK OUT OF... FOR YEARS... and it still broke me and completely changed me from "Oh the reason i'm not freaking out is..." to a sobbing mess of emotions. Its been... a night... I thought of a million ways Madoka was gonna go and was gonna effect me... and this was... not it. To say the least. I wanted to say i'm sorry i didn't have a crazy big reaction in the moment, and i was just a weird mess after words slowly losing my mind over not knowing what is real or not... and taht when i finally did have a real fucking big emotional reaction it was both off camera and there was no way i could record it. Either way.... i want to talk about it more later in that other video, where i'ma cover everything i'm thinking about and feeling... but for right now. Sorry, i love you, and i hope you enjoy this for what it is... i'ma go... back to crying again.
