Hi guys, I felt the need to express myself today about the topics I'm using in my story. This is both good for me to vent my mind and set expectations for the future.

Since I started this Patreon page almost a year ago now, I used many pet girls in my stories. You've seen almost everything so far… Cat girls, pony girls, raccoon girls, bunny girls, fox girls, doggy girls… So there is no secret about it, I love girls and cute animals. Mix them together, and they turn into adorable creatures.

That said, in every single instance, we are talking about humans wearing animal costumes, sometimes just a pair of ears, and in many cases, a full latex suit. That, too, is not a secret. Cat ears are cute, and latex is sexy. Mix them together, and we have something beautiful.

Now we have a mix of girls, animals, ears, and latex. What's not to love about those creatures?

What about the title of this post, then? I do not consider all the above as being furry. I do like furries, even been involved with them at some point, but there is a reason why I am no longer part of that community (for the past 20 years, I guess), and simply put, it was a lack of interest. I didn't recognize myself in that community. Is it hypocritical to use certain animal traits for my characters, then? Maybe… but the point is, my characters are humans to the bone. They evolve in the real human world and experience human challenges. They don't turn into feral beasts at night, perhaps Mia will turn into a grey lion in the future because of her crazy SusceptGear, and they are not genetically shaped animals, like Tony the tiger or Cheetara.

I know some of my patrons are furry. They push me to write more animal content, which is very cool. However, I'm willing to bet that they totally understand that what I'm writing can be interpreted both ways. If you think it's good enough to be furry, go right ahead. If you consider that it's not, that's cool too. I'm part of the latter category, and it doesn't prevent me from understanding the other clan.

That said, if you know me, you know that I'm never shying away from any topics, and if I bump into an idea that I find cool, I'll exploit it. Like for Christmas, you guys ALMOST ended up with a story of a real female cat who could shapeshift into a sexy-horny cat girl. (leave comments below if you'd like to see that) … But I just wanted to say, don't expect a story with a fox girl with real fur and real ears anytime soon. Maybe in a dream or something, I've done a small scene with Vix turning into a real latex fox in Clara's dream, but I don't foresee going too far outside that. (And now that I said that, I think that Dive could be a perfect series to do such a thing.)

I think this short text's conclusion would be; if you like what I do, take it the way you prefer. To me, my stories are about human emotions, and I use animal elements to make them cuter. (because we know Kitty is the cutest, she says it all the time) But at the end of the day, I don't feel I'm part of the furry community, even though I think it's super cool if people like to be part of it. It's great to have a place we can call home. My home is pretty much in front of my keyboard and widescreen TV where I work on my texts. ;)

Have a good evening everybody!

Thanks for writing this, it is a cool insight into your thought process. I agree with you that your work does not fall into what most people would call furry. In your writings petplay is ultimately a temporary sate. With furry the transformation is more permanent. What I do like is how you show that bondage and roleplay can be used as a temporary escape. Often times your protagonists use it as a way to give themselves permission to try something they otherwise would never do. Other times it is used as way to separate themselves from their lives, take a big step back, and try to better understand who they are and how they can work through their problems. Furthermore, latex is indeed sexy.

tigerstretch

Yes, latex is sexy. ;) Latex girls are sexy ;) Latex cat girls are gold-level sexy. ;)

U so want a story of cat turning into a woman. All your writing is high level quality.

tigerstretch

Haha. It was supposed to be an homage to our healthcare people. So many of them had to skin Christmas or couldn't visit their family fearing to contaminate them. The male nurse was walking back home, just to be alone on Christmas night, while totally accepting his faith, and on his way, he picked up a small cat. Once at home, the cat would have turned into a cute girl and would have given him the time of his life. :) ... I skipped it because I was already stupid busy with the 6-7 other stories of the holiday special. It was insane.

Damn now I reAlly want it. There’s always a christmas each year .

I don't see the hypocrisy in having humans in petsuits act a little animal-like but not being considered furry. Maybe it's part of the play, or maybe they just happen to identify a little with their 'assigned' animal, but it's an experience that many people go through without any degree of involvement with the furry fandom - through acting in the former, or spirituality in the latter. Also: I really enjoy the Animal Cafe series, and I know this probably wouldn't work in the story itself, but is there a possibility of one of the pets being a male inside, even with the suit itself being female-shaped? Per Throwcat2's comment, it might be an outlet for a guy to try being a girl for a while, or even just experience the world through an anonymous pair of eyes without being judged. Not speaking out of a personal desire, no :3

We are pretty much aligned on that belief. It's good to hear. :) Adding a male pet to Animal Café has been ruled out a while ago. The main reason is that I don't want to do it, and it's not that I have something against it. It's just a choice. I believe that if I stick to what I prefer and know, the story will be better. That said, in case you didn't know, I'm currently working on a separate short series to thanks my patrons that like gay stories. It is juste a gift from me to them because I appreciate their support. Once I am done with that gift, Its not impossible that I write another one about transgender. But I've been pretty clear that it wouldn't change what this Patreon is about. It's just easier for me to write about what I prefer. I made a survey after the holidays and, overwhelmingly, my patrons wants to keep it this way. People know I have no issues talking about any topics, and if I get a good idea I will exploit it. But I also have to listen to my supporter to some degree. Sometimes I'm wondering if I shouldn't start a second patreon page for gay/transgender content. :) ... I don't think there are enough hours in a day for that. Lol

Like the story. Agree woth comments above. Just love your style

tigerstretch

Good. I don't know what my style is, but I'm glad it works for you guys. :) Sometimes I go back in time and read my old stories, and I cry because I would have written them differently. Almost to the point where I want to reboot some of them. haha
