I have now got to a position that I'm confident that the basic model is done. I have just finished the buckle assembly which works well (shown below) and as game accurate as I could get along with sources most parts needed to create it.

The last thing to do to complete it so far is to do the cut out pattern for the leather forearm grip. I have an idea of how I just need to start detailing it. Once I have that done I will then start looking of how I can start adding LEDs realistic switches etc. which could take some time. if it is possible.

So, the purpose of this poll is to decide on what you guys want. Do you want the model as is, after I have done the leather grip or till it’s a completed project.

If 'Release Current Model' is selected is could still take me a week to create the assembly drawing and BOM for all the non-printed parts.

No rush! I'd rather you have the opportunity to make last minute changes if needed. Better safe than sorry!

I'm going to print it as soon as you make it available. I've got a laser cutter and I'm itching to use it for the leather.

Sounds good, would saving out the flat pattern of the leather pieces in DXF be some help to you.? I can just export the drawing out, its only a couple clicks.
