Yae Miko Multi Toggle Series 1 (Patreon)

Ahoy Patreons!

Hope you're all going well. I've been working on training Lewd Team member Coco De Nutt on helping me with Genshin modding... help convert the mods I've made previously to the new standards and systems and ultimately make toggle mods with them!

Most of the times my mods have so many options that even with the number of options I throw at it, there's no hope of covering all the potential variants - and this is one such time.

We've made a mod with 144 variants shared among 4 seperate toggles, but it only covers a tiny fraction of all the potential variants we make... which is to say, we'll probably make even more Yae Miko (and Bride and Swimsuit) Multi Toggles - but this will be the first of them.

This particular variant allows us to toggle between the Top, the bottom front, the bottom side/back and the panties. Now that I look through them, the swimsuit bottoms weren't included, which is my bad, but that would've made the mod files even more ridiculously oversized, so... oh well!

Instructions:

Press '6' (or Xbox Left Shoulder + Y) to toggle the Top

Press 'Y' (or Xbox Left Shoulder + X) to toggle the Bottom Fronts

Press 'H' (or Xbox Left Shoulder + A) to toggle the Bottom Sides/Back

Press 'N' (or Xbox Left Shoulder + Dpad Down) to toggle the Panties

There can be! Eventually I want to let peeps vote on the toggles in the multi toggle series. But that requires more organization from me... which requires more time... which I'm in short supply of ^^;

I am not sure how others use the combination. But for me, it is a good way to test and choose the most ideal variant for myself. Then I will make a new subset mod that contains only that combination for gameplay. Of course, it is also a convenient way for me to save and manage all your work collection.

Another way to solve the size problem is to use partial combinations rather than combining each individual mod variation. Currently, if you have 3 head variations, 4 for the body, and 5 for the dress, the size complexity would be 3*4*5. Using partial combinations reduces that to 3+4+5. However, that will make it difficult for users to make sole subset mod...

Actually, combining the partial combinations mod with the interactive Html/program will solve all the problems. People can use the partial combination mod to test the variants and download the ideal variant on the web page.

All this is great, but takes a lot of skill (the coding/website side I definetly don't have), effort, time and planning to do what zeroruka does... and there are a variety of pros and cons to doing the method he's doing. Suffice to say, the 'head/body/dress' stuff isn't as straight forward as it sounds (they're much more akin to material layers - Furina for example has no skin on her body section). In the measure of pros and cons - I think the approach zeroruka took will take too much effort, require too much management, take away from my limited time to produce more new mods, and make the actual mods less flexible from a technical perspective.

No worries! I fully understand that most of my ideas are in very ideal yet not very realistic ways. And I agree with you that making the mod more complex will make it less flexible and unstable. After all, Mihoyo doesn't provide tech support. However, if you need any tech support, I am glad to help! I have professions in programming.
