Honkai Star Rail Modding - Very Early WIP Stuff (Patreon)

So I've been playing Honkai Star Rail a lot... I suspect many of you have too! I'm liking it a lot more then my initial impressions - the start is a bit rough, but the game continues to get better as you go in as the charms win you over and the things it lack (good exploration movement) starts to bother you less.

At this point, I'm just logging in to do dailies and resin on Genshin - I expect that'll change once the new game buzz wears off with Honkai, but still, it's a very competent game, and very importantly, the quality of life improvements are fantastic. The dailies and grinding is super streamlined. It's hard to not want these improvements to the Hoyo gacha formula in its bigger brother Genshin!

Anyway, currently, some basic super alpha version of Honkai Star Rail modding is possible (no support will be provided from me or the tool makers right now if you attempt it). There are a number of bugs and very severe limitations to mesh modding, but we can now do texture edits and mesh edits - so long as the vertices on the new mesh is less or equal to the number of verts on the old mesh!

I plan on making a 'lite' nude base body of the ladies... but their sizes and proportions vary quite a lot between characters (which is great - but means more work for us as modders), so it'll be interesting to see how well that goes - and when I get that working, will share with you all!
