758 Euphoria Pt. 2 - Family Tree (Patreon)

The family tree was something I worked on for some time. Just names and placeholders for concepts on a Google spreadsheet, over the course of several years. I was originally going to leave them in flat colors, but I decided to spend another 5 days shading all 74 characters (you should know by now I'm insane.) The entire tree, including profile/silhouettes, has 87 member total. I wanted to mimic either Don Rosa's Duck Family Tree or Norman Rockwell's 1959 'Family Tree.' I chose the latter, with Rosemary's and Herb's depictions being direct parodies of Rockwell's own parents. There's obviously plenty to unpack with it, and I'll let you draw your own conclusions before I eventually break it down in a future post. There's also some foreshadowing in the Coat of Arms.

I lost 2-3 panels of the next comic because of the compromised shared drive. Will have to remake them, but plenty after is nearly, or 100%, completed. See you soon.
