Changes to File Delivery (Patreon)

Hey Everyone,  In case you missed it, May's release DARK FOREST is now live! We're going to be trying something different this month with the file deliveries.

Instead of using SYNC for direct download, we'll be sending out our MyMiniFactory shares to you much earlier.

New Subscribers - It may take a day for you to receive your files, the shares have to be sent out manually, and we'll be updating the User Group on a twice-daily basis.

In addition, we're sending out a free TRIBES trial for everyone subscribed at the time this post goes up :)

Any questions or issues let us know, we hope this will be a much more convenient solution for you all moving forward! Please note, the Tribes Trial does ask you set up billing details for the following month (June) - If you decide you prefer Patreon, please remember to cancel Tribes before the end of the month. We'll send out a reminder on the 25th.

P.S. - Friendly reminder invites will be sent via email to your Patreon-linked email address, make sure this matches your Tribes login email and all will run smoothly!

Great news! I've never once used the SYNC downloads, opting to always just wait for the MMF drop. You guys are awesome!

Oof is there still gonna be a way to get the files without mmf? I dislike them immensely so I hope you'll continue to have other options.

Oof, hadn't even though about that. It's the lack of dealing with pirates and the overall walled garden approach they're taking that bothers me. Hope they can get things setup for you.

^This. All the clicking to download individual files is a bit tedious. I don't mind MMF, but a bundled download would be nice.

just wondering what the point of the free tribes trial is? i have to add a creditcard and it will autobill me after the trial is over. what do i actually get that isn't included in the Patreon?

So they want me to cancel the Patreon then? Mmf doesn’t bill in AUD. That’s the biggest reason I would prefer to stay on Patreon if that’s all this is.

So wondering why free tribe in a month have already been charged for patreon? Thats not free . If its just the percentage taken why not ask us to change ?

We're planning to continue with this release system for the foreseeable future but will, of course, reveiw this decision based on how the community receives the change. David, sorry to hear about the pain you're managing! By way of some support, we'll revert back to a single zip for the Full Collection (uploading as I type). Hey! There's no obligation to try the free Trial, it's there for those who've not tried Tribes before, and are interested to see what it's about :) Patreon is still fine if that's the better billing option for you!

I have not received a download link to my patreon-linked, (or MMF-linked) email address. Is there any way to have that re-sent/ sent, or could I have access to a different way to download the files please?

I just joined up through the Bestiarum website and haven't received any information regarding downloading any of the files. Does it take a while to get the link(s)?
