Happy Tuesday babes!

I am baaack with a hot tip for you this week. And today's hot tip is about posing (either with your boudoir clients OR in your selfies). And it is:

👏 LESS IS MORE 👏

I know we want to get THE shot – and we often think the MORE posing we do the more our clients will like/buy, or the more we will like our self portraits.

But I invite you not to think of how MANY more poses you can fit into a session, but how you can get the most out of your poses.

We're focusing on quality > quantity.

For example, all of these photos are the same "pose" - the client didn't move an inch.

Instead, I focused on changing the following ingredients to my pose:

✦ My relation/angle to the client.

Try doing a full 360 or 270 degree walk around your client and shoot from all different angles. Your relation to your client + the lighting will vastly change the image.

✦ The proximity! An eaaaaasy way to get the most out of a pose is to get:

1. a full body shot

2. a 3/4 shot (think knees up)

3. a close up/detail shot! Lips, chest, hair, booty, collarbones, etc! Get creative!

By focusing on the quality of your poses and getting the most out of some quality poses, you actually are able to provide a deeper experience as it allows your client (or you if it's selfies!) to meeelllttttt into these poses and get the most out of them! It also allows for a more relaxed, less physically draining session (because posing is HARD ya'll!)

I hope this helped!

With love,

M xx
