Spidercest is BACK! And so is Spider-Gwen...

SPIDERCEST #10:
Peter and Jess finally get a chance to bring MJ into their spidercestuous adventures. Though it seems that redhead girl had an unexpected early start on the whole clonebanging shenanigans.
Art by Cheese-Ter

LIQUORISH WHISKERS:
Spider-Gwen needed a few drinks in order to get enough courage for pouring her heart out to Spider-Man. But things don't go exactly as planned once a certain feline shows up on them. Or maybe they actually do...
Art by Renx / Colors by Xurcolor

Hmm. I'm not sure Cheese-ter is the best choice for Spidercest, but... okay, don't judge a book, etc. Although that drawing of Peter's face looks really weird. Like his cheekbones are bulging. Also, the Post button is back, yay!

Cheese-Ter does have a very particular art style, which I associate heavily with his south-eastern cultural influence. His distinct depictions of characters are very unique, but in my opinion, he is one of my best artists in dynamic perspective choices and composition layouts. He excels at that along Bayushi and R-ex.

You clearly think a lot about art composition, TS. ;) My response to his art is more visceral, and pattern matching. The notable comics he's worked on so far have edgier and more intense framing: Scarlet Spiders, Hunt for the Inheritors, and Venomess all have a similar narrative and thematic resonance. Spidercest is distinctly different, or at the least is far softer than the above comics, which is the crux of my concern. That aside, I really do like the girls' faces on the cover.

Been looking forward for Spidercest, but Chees-ter's artwork I'm not sure because it looked kinda weird, but I'll see how this will go
