Overall it was great, but I do want to say that the frames were often either too small or too close up for my taste. It made me feel like I was missing things outside the frame (faces, body parts etc.). I'd rather have less frames showing me more of what's going on. :)

I said to myself that I must try and like this one, that it still had a great setup and art isn't a commodity. This... did not work. I massively didn't enjoy this one. On the sex front things just stayed cold. I often got lost of which guy was in the scene, I think Lizard only gets his fakecock stroked for a moment. Foxx's skintone is all over the map, and the signifying tops (much less faces) are often lower than the frame. Mostly green shirts too. The naked identical cuckoos were more identifiable. MJ is supposed to be working out her angst against Felicia but stays in traditional porn poses. You'd think she'd go ass-to-ass, a position that the setup and toys hinted. It takes so long to get to the action that the competition is verbally started with a page of sex left. As a piece with commentary on the ABP filmography, nature of porn, and Hollywood it had some bits. MJ riding the couch was a bit of fun, the falsity of identity (Eric) being layers deep was cool. Otherwise Brown wasn't the slick and cerebral auteur of Braun, he was just a plain skeeve. Given his normal attention to detail I'd doubt he give Holie roughly half the spotlight (look at Ursa's use in the Kryptonian's Lois gangbang). Even the ending is undercooked, Mj should've bought the footage and showed Pete a glimpse. It would've made Brown more pathetic, squared her with the actors, and ensured nothing would get leaked.

I usually try to keep a good balance between wide and close-up shots, point the action of each panel to where I believe it’s more important. I’ll keep an eye on those notes for the next upcoming projects. Thanks.

I think that despite your previous comment showing your pre-disposition for not liking this particular comic, you do have a point in most of what you stated here. But to be honest, this was a very hard premise to begin with. Once the "MJ making a porno" pitch won that contest, I started trying to come up with some narrative that could make the obvious paradox work somehow. It wasn't easy and I consider myself a bit proud of what I could accomplish despite my most pessimistic feelings that it just couldn't be done. MJ just wouldn't do that in her sane mind. Making it a rapey gangbang story wasn't something I'd be interested in doing (and wouldn't be her quite "making it", but "being forced to make it"). But that's what the contests are all about. Sometimes it's a simple, objective, straightforward idea. But sometimes a simple pitch shows itself quite convoluted and challenging during development, and the final result can't be a guaranteed success. The good news is that it was an interesting experience and next month, as always, I can try again to outperform my failures. Successes are hardly good teachers. Misadventures, on the other hand, are excellent masters. 😕

Just another Monday

Overall, I liked how MJ had fun making a porno, and how she was a natural at it. After all was said & done, returning to Peter to tell him she "fucked his enemies" was a real mindfuck with him, & I loved that. 8/10

Good effort, Tracy. I honestly came for Karl Paulson's art, but stayed for the trademark Tracy Scops wit. I REALLY wished this was a straight-up gangbang on just one female lead - having Holie in there kinda put me off. But I totally understand that this was the narrative direction/porn dynamic you wanted to go with based on your tastes. Overall, I'm glad I have it in my collection. And this concept of MJ revenge sexing Peter just launched my 30 page MJ project. I sent you a link to the first page, Tracy.

I don't know why you're so down on it. It's good for what it is - a light-hearted sex romp with plenty of porn action. I just have one question: Are you ever going to do a serious story?

Loved this comic. From it, I’d love to see MJ getting gangbanged by the original New Avengers (Cap, Iron Man, Wolverine, Luke Cage, Sentry). That would REALLY even the score with Peter!

I’ve done a few stories where the comedic aspect was toned down. But drama is not really my best writing. So the chances for a really serious story in the future are not that good. Best examples of the less funny stories I can think right now are Maximum Carnage and Arachnid Sexoskeletons.

Pretty hot, I would like to see this continue into an ongoing series. Mary Jane being the main instead of Peter, the art was a bit blocky rather than smoothed out though it worked out. MJ being this type of actress could work for future issues. The porn actors weren't drawn too handsome, they just looked like some basement dwellers. Maybe MJ gets called to do another job, I would look forward to that.

This had really nice art and good sex scenes. The dialog was really corny, which worked well for the porn scenes but not as nicely for the regular ones. I would have preferred more "normal" lines in the beginning and end to serve as a contrast to the porn shoot. That said, this was still ok.

Overall a really nice comic, I just would have liked to see one with more of a focus on MJ being gang-banged by all the 'villains'. For example, 'Electro' didn't get to fuck her at all. And of course I would rather MJ got fucked by a real villain or gang-banged by real villains than porn actors. Maybe while Spider-Man was forced to watch.
