Modulation is the art of changing from one key to another, and it's an important part of keeping a song fresh. Change isn't always easy, though, so there's a couple different ways to make it work. In this month's Building Blocks, we're looking at all the different ways to switch keys, from smooth transitions to sudden jumps to something called a Truck Driver's Key Change.
