I've started turning all the women into actual game objects. Now mouse-over will show each woman's stats. I moved the shop temporarily to the starting screen, as it would interfere with giving gifts to Penny. I also moved her leg down so her starting position is more logical. 

Fishing is working and I've added Fish to gifts. Forage is next. I'm going to try using the Library for research... The idea is at game start you can only find the first 4 of each item type, and you research to increase the total to the Max 16. Three benefits of this are: it slows down overall wealth acquisition, forces gathering multiple resources to impress women, and also removes the need to descend deeper into the cave, which works better programmatically.

I've changed the mining, fishing and foraging actions into a quick animation which take two seconds and visually depletes your energy, with a forced-stop so you can eat Ginseng, if you want to avoid sleeping. Here's some quick images:

I'll be focusing on getting Penny's undressing working this month, but also hope I can get gifting, and NPC dating stats working for all women, so the game starts getting into balancing relationships. I also just noticed I should likely add in night-images for the outside areas as well...
