Do NOT tempt me with Kei X Yaku. That show is soooo good, and because the bromance is so understated, I swear noone has seen it. I did not notice on my first watch of this episode, but there is a lot to be said about the difference between Nao's reaction to Tane making a mess and Yutaka's reaction. I agree with Nao that Minoru does have to live his own life, but I also think he can't just ignore the family struggles. So when Tane spills on Nao and she says a polite "It's okay," but then leaves, it kind of feels like a complete split from the family. But when Yutaka says, "It's okay. Just gotta wash the clothes," and then helps Tane clean himself up and stays to hang out with Minoru, it feels more like saying, yeah family is literally and figuratively messy, but you got this, and I am here to help. You can even see the difference with Minoru's reaction to their reactions. After the spill on Nao, he is tense and snappy with Tane, but with Yutaka, he is able to let it go almost immediately.
