I totally agree with you. I dont get why people were not liking this show? Is it because its not as "sexy" as most BLs out there? I just love good acting and good writing. The acting between the two main characters were so good. They need an award after Ep5-8. Seriously. Seo Won and Gong Chan's chemistry is so good so I am not sure why people cant see it. I love the characters they portray as well. I love how Seo Won plays Tae Joon as a quiet yet arrogant man while Gong Chan plays Won Young such a baby girl type of person. As for the kiss, I think it was the right type of kiss too. He basically ambushed Tae Joon so ofcourse itll be like that. Then Tae Joon basically did the same. I think a lot of the BL fans forgot that not all BLs have to be a makeout session from the get go like all Thai BLs... This series is so good in my opinion. I just appreciate how good of an actor Seo Won and Gong Chan are. No noob actors, just pure veteran actors playing the part. Love it. Cant wait for your Ep 7 & 8 reaction (ep6 & 8 are my faves so far). I tend to not read any mydramalist reviews now because a lot of keyboard warriors just dont see how good a series is, may it be this or other good ones out there.

I usually have a different opinion with you but this time, we’re are in total agreement on this one. This drama is good! One of my faves in the recent releases alongside ODS and TES. The main leads are great actors and recently concluded episodes were a good proof of that. And yes, @Apple, I think people just forgot that not all dramas have to be a make out show. A good storyline with a decent kiss is enough for me too. Slightly disappointing kiss yes, but not to the point that it would affect my opinion on this good storyline and impressive acting. It is so rare to find a KBL with a staple KDrama storyline and this actually delivered it. I wanted a good stereotypical KDrama-esque story and this was a granted wish for me. I love the waiting and watching the episodes every week. I’m just sad that iQiyi decided not to release this show in ROI for some reason.. I really wanted to watch and support them there but sadly, not available. Anyway, looking forward to more of this show and I hope it gets more love than it deserves.

I totally agree with you, this show is so good and so are the actors. I definitely feel their chemistry. Mydramalist is not the best place to go for balanced opinions of a series because most people their tend to enjoy tearing a show a part for some reason. I also agree with Karlchen that this feels like a general kdrama and I love that.

I also don't understand why people immediately claim that the main couple has no chemistry just because the kiss wasn't PG-21... First of all I think like Lydia said it was totally appropriate for a first kiss. But I don't think we should expect more from the kisses on this show. From what I've read, it's not the actors' fault, it's the producers and scriptwriters that keep the touches and kisses strictly PG-12. The actors wouldn't mind showing more, but it's just down to the producer who doesn't want to. But even without hot, passionate french kisses and NC scenes, I love this bl drama more than anything! I love everyone's acting and also can't understand why everyone is picking on Wonyoung's acting. The side coulple interests me as well, even though we haven't seen much of it yet. If I understood Cha Seo Won correctly in this episode, Dong Hee has had a crush on Ho Tae since high school and is only upset because the other only wants to date him for a month. I also think that Ho Tae suspected for a long time that he might have feelings for Dong Hee but never acted on them, perhaps because he wasn't sure what the other would think about it. But after seeing that Dong Hee is keeping the watch and the photo of him, maybe he thought he might have a chance and wanted to try it with a month or something like that. No idea, but that would be my guess so far. 😄 I really love this series so much. 😍 I'm already scared of the moment when Cha Seo Won finds out the truth. Omg, I can't even think about it. 💔😭

I honestly don't really understand why people bash their acting too I think they are phenomenal. But everyone is entitled to their opinion sooo..... I love the side couple a lot tho and i find their dynamic a little more interesting tbh😅. Ho tae didn't do that out of the blue and he didn't just develop feelings as soon as he saw the photos. His feelings has been hinted from episode one. It's all about the subtle hints. I feel like the reason for the one month thing is because he isn't sure about how dong hee feels so he wants them to try and see if through the one month trial dong hee will develop some feelings. I do understand tho Donghee response towards the whole thing cause it does seem like ho tae is just messing with him but that is not the case.
