I loved this show so much! 🥰 It was cute, not much drama and the ml‘s had amazing chemistry. And the kiss, oh My mind, it was really good 😬 Now I’am excited to watch Unintentional Love Story and The Eighth Sense with you. Both started great and I love that we get episodes about at least 35-40 minutes, that‘s so nice 😍 Korean bl‘s are stepping up their game 🤗

Its breaks my heart to see the usually confident Ki Tae breaking down when he couldn't find Wan. Great acting! Especially when he was shouting Wan's name with that trembling voice... 😢

For me, this edges out A Shoulder To Cry On, despite waiting for the last two episodes. ASTCO is good, but I don't think I could watch all that bullying again. Like Symantec Error, this is immensely re-watchable. The final two eps of Our Dating Sim solidly puts it in my top KBL for 2023 (So far!) The heartbreaking moment when you see Ki Tae was traumatized by Wan's abrupt disappearance. Finally, what I like most is, these two are affectionate to each other. When they are at home, they are slumping into each other, always touching. No one acting like they are avoiding contact. They WANT to be near each other. While the kissing was good, it is the body language they have as a couple that sells this KBL on me as Top Tier.

When Ki tae broke down in tears omg I broke down too. The actor did such a good job, I felt it. These too are so cute, I'm gonna miss them. It felt so short. I need longer kbls. This series proves that you don't need to have unnecessary dramas to be a good series. Some writers should take notes

Our Dating Sim is a perfect example of how you can portray romantic connection between characters without needing high heat. It was emotional without being angsty, and you could see and feel that they wanted to be together. I loved the post credits scenes as well giving an alternate view of their high school romance, if they had made different choices and could have been honest with each other back then. Definitely tops the kbls of recent offerings.

I just rrealised that Shin KiTae could mean "new expectations" in Korean. I love the naming puns of East Asia. My only qualm with these eps is Wan never made an attempt to talk it out about Australia. I suspect that early on, he did not want to worry KiTae, but he was worried anyhow. Plus, I am not a big fam of I will just give up my dream for love. That aside, KiTae freaking out was so well-written and acted. Glad they did drag the angst out. The series as a whole was sweet. Loved the game sim bits at the end of each ep. And our couple was the sweetest.
