Weak Hero really is a must watch! This series was so so amazing. I even watched it with my mom who had never seen anything korean before and even she was amazed about how good it was. 🤣 It's hard to watch but so worth it to go trough with it. I would watch it again with you. 🥰 Maybe you know si eun from the korean series: At a distance, Spring is green. He was one of the ml there. I saw this series right after Weak Hero and it was also an amazing show. 🥰

You should be able to handle WHC1. You already picked up on the one flaw in the series has, which is, "Where are the adults/teachers?!?" Obviously there is a lot of violence, but our lead simply does not stand for being bullied. In a way, it is empowering watching him use his brain to take down those who threaten him. Technically, it is not a BL, but the two main leads have so much affection for each other, as well as so many meaningful looks, it is hard not to call it a BL (feels a bit like a Chinese BL that has Bromance) Arguably, the third lead seems to be jealous of the two leads friendship, and with my rainbow goggles on, it all appears, to me, to be romantic tension Shadow and Bone likely bubbled up on your feed, because second season does have a gay and lesbian romance. Season one is really about building the tapestry of their universe and it gets a little complicated to follow. But it keeps its logic. Season 2 is better just because there is not so much world building, but character development. It is so much fun watching the carefree gunslinger Jesper, and chemist Wylan, flirt or talk about their relationship in the middle every battle! You recognized Ben Barnes as the villain, likely from Westworld. It's def worth the time to watch on your own, if you like the vibes.

"Where are all the adults/ teachers?" Hahahah. I have not see the series, but I have seen stuff shows like it. And one thing I can say every time I watch an East Asian show like this is that it rings true. I am not in Korea, but Japan where a lot of the culture is similar, and I started working in schools here almost 15 years ago. The stories I could tell... There is at least a 50-50 chance that nobody, adult or kid will step up to help. Although, I think people have gotten a little better about helping since the youth su*cide rates increased.

I watched Weak Hero Class 1 and was shocked about the bullying and violence. But the show is so good and worth watching it. I had the same thought, i know him from some where and it was At a distance spring is green. I liked this series and his acting. I would watch WHC with you again but please make sure you can handle it with all the bullying and beating up of everyone.

Haven't watched weak hero but kinda want to start it lol. I watched and loved "The Glory" but omg the bullying was very hard to watch for me. I kinda looked away sometimes but the story and actors were so amazing it's a 10 for me❤

Weak Hero is amazing!! True that the bullying and everything is hard to watch but for me the friendship between Si-eun and Soo-ho is beautiful and worth it to keep watching until the end! The acting and the way the actors portrayed those characters are just so so good 😍 Waiting for season 2 !
