It was a lot harder to do this scene with a world background than I thought it would be. I knew I wanted it to take place on Takodana for sure, but I didn't realize how difficult it would be to get the scaling just right. Especially in concern to the models, the wing of the plane, and then the ground and surrounding buildings. 

I'm quite pleased with how the lighting matched up between the world and what I added to give it that sunlit feel, but in the end I would rather prefer to do in house scene building like I did on the 2b one with Procrasinating Lazily. It just feels right. At the very least mixing the ship in with the world scene is better than no ship at all. It just doesn't feel right without something to tie them together. It's just a solid wall surrounding you with something painted on it. But we're learning!
