I was very nervous about this video, as I was trying some new things with the foreground and background lighting. I need to break my fear of judgement by the public as I am still learning. Hell, I always will be! I decided to use a bunch more non-shadowed lights on the background and foreground, and it looks WAAYYY better than it did without them. Slower render time, yes, but way better looking overall.

I'm starting to realize more and more that, yes, lighting has certain rules you should adhere to, but for the most part it's an art form. Rules are meant to followed and broken. And then there's the idea of a lighting style; it's apparent that I prefer high contrast and vibrant colors. That's probably why it's taken me so long to work towards a softer lighting style. Back to the point, I am trying new things with lighting, and starting to set up minor and major rules for myself that I use on every animation.

On top of replacing most of the textures that were pixelated and not well scaled, I also decided to try my hand at editing the car to TRULY be Cammy's vehicle, adding her icon to the car dash. This was back before I had the tablet, so it's kinda meh, but you can't tell in the darkness that it was very unstable mouse shop rather than by hand. Enjoy the videos!
