Various quick warm-up song covers that I did (Patreon)

Last night before I recorded some lines I warmed up by singing karaoke again but THIS time I got a little carried away and ending up doing like 3 songs and spending a lot of time editing them instead of doing what I was supposed to be doing ;w;
The loud air conditioner was on again when I was recording my singing so I tried to add a lot of reverb to cover it up......I'm sorry!!!!!! It was really hot again today and I wanted my recording space to stay chilly cause otherwise once I turn off the AC it gets hot and stuffy again really fast and then I start feeling like Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura when he's inside of that mechanical Rhino peeling off his gross wet clothes.
Maybe once I can have the AC off for extended periods of time without dying I could re-record some of these songs and make them more polished.
I did them all mostly in one shot so my vocals are kinda all over the place sometimes but it's a good exercise for me since usually I'm a hyper-perfectionist who has to re-record the same part of a song for an hour until I get it completely right and that's why the song covers that I don't just spit out in one go take forever to make.
ANYWAY I did Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer which is one of my favorite songs since I was little, and a couple Gwen Stefani songs from her old solo album. At one point when I was mixing the songs I started messing around with effects and made versions of the songs that sound like they're all muffled like they're playing from outside a room cause I LOVE that effect.
Also there's a super autotune version of my cover of The Real Thing cause I did this thing where I recorded backing vocals and duplicated the track of that and shifted each track to the right and left channels to create a kinda widening effect and I thought it'd be cool if they sounded kinda robotic since it fit with the 80s synth style of the song!
And I did all this crap for 4 hours when I was SUPPOSED to be re-recording one single line for a game dev lmao, but don't worry I recorded my line afterwards even though it was like midnight by then.
