Is that so? (Patreon)

I surprised myself a bit today, throwing together a project submission for a call for artists that I received just today. It'd be a little like Ring Ring Poetry, but with a science and nature bent, as it's for a restoration project at Lake Pepin. I'm delighted at the idea of writing and recording stories for birds and trees, and have already imagined this as my first bike camping trip of the year, in early May. 

I can't imagine I'll get it, but if I did, I could use part of the funds to get a new laptop. Mine has been slow on programs that require more RAM, has keys that occasionally stick or skip, and I am already imagining how much easier it will be to work with a newer machine.

Just having projects out there as possibilities feels good.
