Why doesnt the Doctor use the time that she has? I remember when Peter Davison became the 5th and youngest (and "dishiest") Doctor and was traveling with Tegan, Nyssa & Adric, something that the show runner John Nathan Turner said... It has to be clear at all times that there's no chance of hanky-panky with the Doctor aboard the Tardis. Well, it was 1982.

It's an enjoyable if rather average story. The editing is a little off due to problems behind the scenes but there are some nice scenes between the Doctor and Yaz and Dan gets some great lines. I do wish they had kissed on the beech at the end though. Can't not wait until next week for Remembrance, one of my favourite classic stories. Can't believe this journey is nearly over.

Paula absolutely has to see Remembrance before Power. The Doctor's comments about not wanting to start something because it's going to end someday is true for anyone and everything. In any romance one partner is going to die before the other. Is that a reason not to go ahead with it anyway? And who's to say how long Yaz and the Doctor have anyway? Yes, there's only one more tv episode- but eventually Big Finish will cram a dozen or three audio adventures in between- and the BBC will release a handful of novels and a comic book or three. From past experience all eras of the Doctor's life are infinitely expandable.

I'm not going to comment "Where's regular Who?" when you watch Remembrance of the Daleks, because for me Classic *is* regular Who. It's the new series that's the exotic version.

Upset?.. UPSET?!!!!.. 😱 I actually was ready to go poke around on discord because I was getting antsy since the break hadn't happened yet, yall we're making me nervous 😅 Anyway, for all the chuckle you're getting out of the Sea Devil, when the preview for this dropped, I was really jazzed to see them "pull something like this out of the hat" and give it a modern effect treatment.

The Force

FINALLY after a lot of reactions to catch up with I'm here. Absolutely love this show, Whittakers era isn't my favorite, to no fault of her I always love how she captures the doctor I just don't like the "And Then" way the writing feels, as well as how convenient and short solutions often ended up being. Not that it isn't always it just felt more... poorly. I never got this far into it so it's been a pleasure to watch with you gals, we'll see if this next episode gets me as I don't tend to cry much but it's always hard letting go of a Doctor. (It is the next one yeah?) This was goofy, this was sweet a fun ride and watchalong, keep being your amazing selves, I look forward to the future!
