Vagabond Episode 5 Reaction (Patreon)

Sorry this one is 5 days late. This week has been not a good one for my health, but the good news is that I now only have to wait a few more days until I get to watch the next episode!

This show continues to stun me with its' complex and interesting characters. This episode contained a pivotal turning point for Hae-ri as she decided that being an NIS agent wasn't just a job anymore, but a chance to commit a similar heroic sacrifice to the one her father had given his life for. Gi Tae-ung also proved that he is willing to risk everything for the betterment of his country in one of my favorite twist moments of the show so far. The scene where it is revealed that Tae-ung also intended to leak his conversation with Hae-ri is an intimate and wholesome one.

Obviously the main advancement of the plot came from the fact that Dal-geon was FINALLY able to provide some sort of evidence to the press that John & Mark is indeed behind the crash.

I am very curious to find out who 'The Shadow' is, and to see how Dal-geon stays safe in an NIS safehouse when the NIS are in on the plot to kill him.
