it's totally just my personnal opinion, but for me who love might guy more than anyone, i think that would be better if he was dead... i mean.. that would be an amazing message. but no, mister naruto A.K.A jesus reborn, "hi i got power to save evryone from death now, thanks grandpa", back in that day, i totally stop watching naruto without seeing the end for like 1-2 years. ^^'

Kishimoto said that he wanted to end Shippuden way before the wararc and that the studio forced him to keep this popular anime and manga alive a bit longer. Thats why the quality drops at the end of the show and its all fanservice. When the worst character ever introduced into the naruto world shows up soon you'll see what I mean...All the rules are ignored...like Kakashi spamming MS this whole war and the eye still worked when Madara stole it....Neji's death annoys me cause if he stayed alive a while longer then he would never be able to die cause Naruto is jesus...healing the blind and saving Guy for a future of misery cause we saw all those bones destroyed in the fight.

I actually prefer the mangas way of killing itachis girl, he put her under his most powerful tsukuyomi that lasted I think 80 years and she died in his arms from mental old age. In the dream she lived peacefully with itachi and she thanked him at the end😭

I feel like Itachi saw 2 outcomes. 1. He slaugther the whole clan, and Sasuke got to live. Also the clan kept their reputation and dignity. There would be someone to restore the clan aswel as fight Obito/madara in the end as he might have anticipated. 2. They revolted and Danzo took that opportunity to slaughter the whole clan, gather eyes and Sasuke would have ultimately died aswel. Also the Uchiha would be forever remembered as traitors.

you were kind of missing a big point to your theory of needing a civil war. Itachi most important reason for doing this was to prevent other nations from attacking a weak civil war battled leaf village. He most likely saved the world from another great ninja war.
