These look to me like organisms piloting separate organic walker-mechs, like the actual pilot is sitting in the "mouth". Is that intentional?

I was thinking the same thing! That would be cool, if these were simply organic "mechs", but with a mind and life of their own.

The crab is absolutely amazing, I love it. Please use that as a final design. :)
