Hiya there, guys!
We're mere days from it being 2017 now, and it seems like it's shaping up to be a year with many exciting developments ahead of us!
There is of course Chapter Two of Quest Failed to look forward to, of which I'll have plenty to show from its development soon. The hardest part is not spoiling everything at once, haha.
Secondly, and the main purpose of this post, alongside Quest Failed I've recently had the opportunity to work on something else in collaboration with another development studio that are equally passionate about monster girls.
The game is still in very early development as we plan things out, but I'm really excited to be a part of it as the writer and supervisor of the designs and hope you guys will look forward to playing it!
It's a little different from Quest Failed in that it's not entirely a visual novel, but instead will feature combat with a selection of monster girls in a sort of 'Match 3' system that you might be familiar with. The system is still being worked to include many RPG features, so I don't want to discuss it in too much detail yet, but it'll make for some intense encounters with monster girls!
Essentially the main character is a monster tamer of sorts, seeking to build up a team strong enough to challenge the evil (monster girl of course!) that's been terrorising the lands. But even as much as he's supposed to be taming them, they're quick to show him who's really in charge~
So it's gonna be a blend of Match 3 combat, along with the usual, intense h-scene encounters you might expect from me (complete with VA!) between these segments to keep things exciting.
As I'm working in tandem with an established development studio on this game, they of course have their own in-house artists and programmers, and from the image I've posted you can get a glimpse of what kind of art you might be able to expect from the game.
Now, as I'm working on a new project, I understand this might be cause for concern in some way, but as to avoid anyone assuming the worst, I would like to address several things that may be brought up:

Now, as I'm working on a new project, I understand this might be cause for concern in some way, but as to avoid anyone assuming the worst, I would like to address several things that may be brought up:
- My work on this game has been carefully agreed upon as a part time role, where I will only contribute what I can manage in a week, as to make sure work on Quest Failed doesn't suffer. This won't affect development speed of QF in the slightest. Quest Failed always has, and always will take priority.
- Everyone that is pledging $10 or more WILL get a free copy of this game when it's finished, so it's a win-win situation for you guys, too. More monster girls for everyone!
- As the studio will be handling the art/music/etc. this won't affect the workflow of Quest Failed at all, and assets for it will be made at a steady rate as always.
If you have any other questions or concerns about the announcement of this new project, please don't hesitate to leave a comment, PM me, or contact me via email with any queries. I'll do my best to alleviate any potential worries you might have about things.
Look forward to more news on both Quest Failed and this exciting new project in 2017!
Thank you for your amazing support as always~
