I frequently attempt new painting/workflow techniques to speed up my comic-drawing process and this time around it's one of those instances where it's failed completely. Not that this current page is ruined, but that it's ended up taking almost twice as long as usual. I'm trying not to get too frustrated because at least now I've learned not to try this particular process again?

As they say, you don't know until you've tried. Either way, it was a learning experience. We can wait.

Keep it up! We can wait considering the quality you've put into all your work!

Most experiments fail. At least now you know!

The amazing, spatial, non-linear visual flow of DK is one of the things that makes it so breathtaking. I've sat down with friends and walked them through some pages of Hob, just to elicit their oohs and ahhhs. You're as groundbreaking as Bill Watterson was when he first broke the four-square-panels rules of comics. Sorry to hear of your setback, but grateful for your continued experimentation!

The recent pacing of new pages totally made up for it, so don't worry and keep trying new things. And sometimes it just takes a while to get efficient, I guess?
