the lady sanguine (Patreon)

The lady sanguine, is the ship of Imperia the bloody. In fact, her name the bloody come directly from the ship itself.

The figurehead is an ancient arthefact, capable to sense the futur. She start to cry blood, every time and enemy is nearby. That actually already saved many time the crew. The downsize is that the magic of the figurehead color the sail in a crimson red. No matter what was the initial color, it ll fade to red in the days after being put. Another funny thing is that the color don't stay. Once the sail is taken off, the red is cleaned after washed, like if the sail was just tainted in blood.

All those details gave the name "the bloody" to Imperia.

When she started her career, she captured the schooner that would become the lady sanguine. It was a pirate hunter ship, and it's in this fight she did loose her arms. She took the ship for hers, as her former first one, the Queen Annabel was beyond repair.

She find the figurehead only month later, after a long treasure hunt, and installed it on her ship, renaming it then, the Lady Sanguine.

It been 4 years now that she own the ship. And while that time, the ship became a well known menace for the merchant ship. More than one captain soil his pant seeing those red sails coming in his direction.

I'm a big fan of ship =D was a fucking pleasure to design this one, and i took my time for it! The ship is part of the crew, as any other member. and it was the last needed design. Now, only need the introduction page, and the cover, and we start!, already started the rough of the cover! soo, we're close to the begining!
