Interesting fact. If Sasuke was named after the father of the 3rd hokage, then the father of the 3rd hokage was Sarutobi Sasuke. Sarutobi Sasuke is a ninja from traditional Japanese folklore. He was the leader of the Sanada Ten Braves and a fairly well-known character in general. You can read the Wikipedia article about him.

So there you have it.. The Uzumaki Clan is a distant blood relative of the Senju Clan, possible similar to a branch family of sort hence why Naruto is the new incarnation if the younger son if the Sage of the Six Paths (similar to how Sasuke is the new incarnation of the older son) and that is because both of them descends from the Sage of the Six Paths..

Also, if you've noticed Mito has the exact same seal on her forehead as her granddaughter Tsunade; Tsunade might have based the seal on her grandmother's jutsu.. This also confirms that Naruto and Tsunade are distant relations as Tsunade herself is a descendant of the Uzumaki Clan through her grandmother - this also probably explains how Nawaki (Tsunade's younger brother) looked a lot like Naruto.. With that, Naruto calling Tsunade "grandma" isn't really too farfetched since they are literally family..
