The line you missed from Tsuki at the end was him saying "Nice Kill". In typical Tsuki fashion; just because he's going to compliment you, doesn't mean he's going to get excited about it XD(It's alot more clear in the Japanese; the whole middle section of this season has some strange dubbing issues at moments not sure why...) Also yeah; Tanaka is technically average. And yet; if you go back and look through the entire show again, he's also the only person in the entire team, that has never spent a second off the court in any match that they've played. From the very first game they played against Aoba Josei, each player in Karasuno has been subbed out at least one time; except for Tanaka.
