During the planning phase of our Nevada city trip, I had envisioned that Heather and I would shoot this grainy, low light, super simple all nude shoot. When we were actually on the ground, I committed to switching between cameras with the secondary always having my deliberately grungy 3D printed lens on it. I realized, after the fact, that combining these two concepts presented some challenges.

You see, that lens desperately needs a TON of light. Modern cameras, however, don’t give a shit about how much light you have, so long as you’re willing to sacrifice quality by adding grain to the image. There's a limit to how much you can push an image in post-processing, and with this set, I found myself at that boundary. Embracing the quirks of this lens led to some interesting discoveries...
