Maple's face as Barry was describing all the psychotic ways he'd get revenge for Sally was killing me.

Totally agree with you guys, alot of the best movies nowadays and shows like Severance and Barry, aren't the most popular and it's too bad...but it does kinda make me appreciate them more and feel like they are more unique for us who know. Glad you guys get it tho, that's why i appreciate your reactions and opinions.

about dessert in the first minutes of the show... do you remember the very first scene of season 3?

Station Eleven is a good example of it as well. It's a really good, one season drama with a unique setting, great acting, and some amazing storytelling that got a ton of good reviews. Unfortunately, HBO apparently didn't put much marketing behind it. Would love to see them react to it some day, though! I think they'd really love it.

Station Eleven was sooo incredible! I know one channel covered it on patreon (Brandon Likes Movies) but nobody else did sadly. This is a spicy take but I think its better at what it does than The Last Of Us 👀

Oh god yes, it's way better than TLOU overall while exploring similar themes as TLOU. Don't want to rant off topic on a Barry post, but I think TLOU was pretty mid overall. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't anything amazing either. Bella Ramsey is just not a good enough actress at this point in her career, and she really dragged down the good parts of the show for me.

I feel like the title of this episode best encapsulates the season as a whole, it's just one thing after another and just when you think you have a moment's reprieve you get a scene like the Barry+Sally one. I must say it was fun watching both of your faces as he is breaking down his psychotic plan lol.

I wouldn't call that a missfire. I'd call that she accidentally shot him. I'd call that lacking basic gun safety knowledge. Rule #1 never let the Barrel pass over people when moving let alone point it at them.
