Walt is offered help pretty much at *every* turn - but his ego makes him turn it down again and again. He'd rather convince himself that he's too smart and too in control for all the horrible stuff that happens to people in the drug-business and their loved ones to befall him and his loved ones. P.S.: As another person with ADHD - I knew there was a reason I kept thinking "there's something very familiar and fascinating about how Arianna's mind works" :)
