Welcome, summer! I’m so happy to be ushering in the season officially with the solstice this week. We’ve really been enjoying all of the extra hours of daylight around here! Last week at home with the kids was so fun - we did lots of art projects, went on a few fun outings, hit up the pool when it was warm enough, and spent LOADS of time enjoying the backyard. We’re really enjoying eating dinner outside lately, too. Have you had any fun in the sun recently? I hope so! ☀️

Here’s what’s what this week in the WWC:

  1. I’m finally wrapping up the recaps of my March road-trip with this week’s YouTube video. I spent a very fun, full day (and a half) in Austin, Texas. I bring you along to my very sweet airbnb and on two tours to get a taste (literally and figuratively) of this fun city. Early access for the WWC drops Wednesday 24 hours in advance, as per usual 🤠
  2. I’m celebrating the official start of the season with my summer favorites for our community exclusive video this Friday. Fun stuff! 😎
  3. We had our June live hangout last week, which was so much fun. I really enjoy connecting with you in this way. If you missed it and want to see what we chatted about, you can check out the replay here 😊

Many, many thanks for all of the helpful comments on my home office situation from last week’s video. You all have the best ideas! I’m excited to start shuffling things around and order a few pieces. You know I’ll keep you posted 😉

Wishing you all a beautiful solstice and summer of love, peace, and joyful moments ahead!

❤️, Jen

No judgement in this question, the kids didn’t celebrate at all with Don on Father’s Day? Please know I am in no way judging one way or another…….💕

I totally understand your curiosity - just like I said in the video, tho, Don and I both agree that the calendar doesn’t matter as much the celebration itself. In this case there’s a larger family celebration on his side of the family this upcoming weekend that he wanted the kids present for so we switched. The kids honored the day itself by making him special gifts we gave him beforehand and I sent him a video greeting from them on the day of. But honestly the kids are used to celebrating outside of the calendar because of our co-parenting situation so it was a non issue. This is especially important when it comes to birthdays and such - they know they will be celebrated by both of their parents and that’s the focus, not when it happens but the love of celebrating for and with them whenever we’re together 💕
