Thanks to everyone who left such great questions for me on Monday’s update! I decided to answer the non-travel specific ones for this video as I have a dedicated travel Q&A video planned later this spring, so please hold onto those for then! Today we chat about my childhood crush, where I’m at with my social anxiety, my tips for making friends (or not 🙈) in your thirties, and much, much more. I love sitting down to chat with you and I hope you also feel in some way that you’re spending time with a friend. Thanks for being here! 💕

You’ve always been the mum I want to be for my kids. Thank your for sharing. Wish you could be separated but still always have your kids with you. In Germany it’s very common that the kids stay with the mother and go to their dads every two weeks for the weekend. My parents split up when I was young, but we always spent Easter, Christmas, birthdays all together. 🌸

It's interesting how different cultures approach these things differently. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach for co-parenting. To me it makes sense for it to be situational. For my kids, having as close to equal time with both me and their Dad is best for them right now. We do our best to prioritize their emotional health and well-being over everything else and I think that's why we have such a positive co-parenting relationship. I haven't heard of many split families sharing holidays together like that in the states - if it works well for your family, I think that's a really beautiful thing! But I don't think it would work well for all families, you know?

No, definitely not 😉 It’s beautiful how much you priorities your kids feelings. You have all my respect, must be really tuff though for you as a parent… 💜
