I thought it might be fun to do a Cook With Me style video where I walk you through how the kids and I make homemade pizza. This is a top favorite in our house! Let me know what you think if you give it a try. Here’s to Pizza Party Friday Night!🍕

Homemade Pizza Recipe:

1 cup water

1 tablespoon dry active yeast

2 tablespoons olive oil (plus more to drizzle)

1 tablespoon honey

1/4 teaspoon salt

3 cups flour

1 15 ounce can tomato sauce

1+ teaspoons oregano (to taste)

1+ teaspoons garlic salt (to taste)

Toppings of your choosing

Preheat oven with pizza stone inside to 500℉. Heat 1 cup of water to 110-115℉ and gently mix in 1 tablespoon of dry active yeast. Allow to proof for 10 minutes.

Combine olive oil, honey, and salt in a large bowl. Add yeast mixture. Mix in flour at a time and knead until dough comes together (about 10-15 minutes). Allow dough to rest while prepping the sauce. Combine tomato sauce with dried oregano (or basil) and garlic salt.

Roll out dough to desired size and thickness (I cut the dough in half to make 2 medium-size pizzas and roll out to about 1/4” thick). Drizzle a small amount of olive oil on prepared dough and spread evenly. Bake for 3 minutes.

Remove crust from oven to add sauce and toppings. Return to oven for 6-10 minutes (more toppings require more time to cook). Allow to cool for a few minutes before cutting to serve. Enjoy!

Oh this video was sweet with the kiddos. I can't get over how much they've grown. Time flies by for sure when it comes to our babies. My daughter and I enjoyed making pizza together as well. Miss those times...she is now 28 years old. Yes to more cooking videos. Thank you for sharing ❤️

Just catching up on this video! I remember you one time mentioning you were at a phase where dinner was at 4:30 because your kids were starving. I am now in that phase with my kids and I think of all the other moms out there with littles eating dinner early!
