Welcome & Some Updates (Patreon)

Hello, Wonderers! I am so, so happy you are here. I was just going to type all this out, but wanted to chat *face to face* - so now there's a video too, in case one works better for you.  

First of all, I just want to say that I am so freaking HAPPY you are here! Big heartfelt thanks for joining the community and coming on this journey with me. I've already said this a bunch in the comments on the first vlog, but it truly feels like coming home to old friends, the kind you can jump right back in with as if no time has passed even if it has been YEARS. You are those people for me. I am absolutely OVER THE MOON excited to be able to connect with you through my videos and our conversations in comments and messages in this way again. My heart is bursting with joy. I love the WWC (With Wonder Community abbreviation 😎) so much already and this is only the very beginning. 

Ok, here are the updates:

1) I've added a new benefit to your membership (don't worry, this isn't affecting the price at all). I've decided that starting next week, every time I post a video to my public YouTube channel I will post that same exact video here at the same time, ad-free. This will facilitate a community-only comment thread for those videos and make it so you can access all of my video content, exclusive and public, in one place.  Posting the public videos here are IN ADDITION to the 2-4 exclusive videos you get in the community, not in place of them. It's just an added perk for anyone who might enjoy having all of the content in one place, ad-free, and within our community for comments.

2) I've received messages from quite a few of you suggesting I *hide* the earnings total that's visible to anyone who visits the page with concerns for how some people might treat that information. My initial thought in having this information public was that I wanted to be as transparent as possible, but after much thought I've decided to keep that information private and available to the community only. I am sharing these numbers with you, because every month I pledge to donate 10% of revenue to a charity we come together to pick. I will be sharing those numbers with you each month and there's really no need for anyone outside of the community (with the exception of my accountant 😉) to know.

3) That being said, we are going to pick our first charity next week for the month of March. We will do this each month in the form of a community poll, in which I will list a few options and will donate to the majority pick. I am thinking we will change the charity monthly in order to cover a broader range.  I am compiling a list to draw from and would love your input. Please leave a comment to this post with your suggestions if you'd like.
