I love this episode! What I always find heartbreaking is that in episode 6 when David wants to know about his parents and Andrew tells him that they were obsessed with him and he had the master bedroom and stuff, David and the audience assume he’s lying still, because it’s so far fetched, but it’s true and it ends up being what turns David off of being with him. Also all of the yearbook pictures in this episode are the same as Andrew’s in real life, you can see side to sides of Darren’s and Andrews and he was actually voted most likely to be remembered.

The ending of this episode gives me chills it’s honestly haunting, this whole episode is a masterclass in my opinion, so many subtle things they do in the ep like the scene where they are both interviewing both scenes are eerily similar showing how much his father influenced him from early on. Not to mention the slow paced camera work really fits this episode so well. The actor who played the dad was also a revelation. The way he put Andrew on this super high pedestal and how he treated him was so off putting to me in the start then you slowly begin to realize what kind of person he actually was. What a fantastic episode and one I think about so often. Great reaction.
