At this point Lucifer doesn’t love Chloe. There is another reason for his vulnerability around Chloe, which you’ll find out in S2. I think you don’t give Chloe enough credit when Trixie gets kidnapped, but she’s a cop she has to be even keeled to think critically. Lucifer does die; but he got the coin back, because Malcolm reneged on the deal not to shoot a Lucifer.

It's not a big one, but please consider this when commenting in the future:) Joe has said before he doesn't like when people are hinting at things like "you'll find this out in this episode/season"
