Alec is so pure, haha. I love watching him try to flirt, it's adorable. I actually loved this episode, it's one of my favorites from season 1. idk why.

You'll soon realize that the problem isn't Clary and the problem isn't Simon. The problem is Clary and Simon when they are together.

i strongly disagree with that. They're both very selfish when they're alone. When they're together, they work well and understand each other the most. Regardless of if you ship them, they truly get one another and are a good team when they put feelings aside. Like when Simon or Clary are in trouble and they need to save the other, they become so determined and powerful.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for noticing the problems with Clary (even though she was more tolerable this episode). Many reactors that I’ve seen disregard some of the stupid and selfish things she does throughout season 1. I agree with you about them dragging out Simon’s transformation but I promise it is almost over, and, in my opinion, he becomes more intriguing. Magnus, Alec, and Izzy I feel are the most interesting characters in this series, especially in comparison to Clary and Jace (which thankfully the writers and directors soon take advantage of). I’m happy that you’re giving us such honest opinions as to what you do and do not enjoy about each episode. Happy to be a new Patreon
