What I saw in the Evil.
Rinka’s Point of View
Experiencing a sensation of continuously falling, before I realized it, I was in the place where I had that date… “Lavi-kun’s Place."

"Judas-sama!"

Looking around, I found Judas-sama collapsed.

"Rinka..."

Judas-sama didn’t seem to be injured. But Rosarin-chan wasn’t here.

"Judas-sama, do you know where Rosarin-chan is?"

"No, did she... get lost?"

Why does she get lost so easily? No, maybe she was rejected? Only those approved by "Lavi-kun" should be allowed here.

Rosarin-chan might be in danger!

"Judas-sama, let's find Lavi-kun! If Lavi-kun is here, everything should be okay!"

"Yeah."

As usual, Lavi-kun's place was quiet, with no signs of living creatures.

We found Lavi-kun quite quickly, curled up and frightened.

"Rosarin is scary, Rosarin is scary, Rosarin is scary."

“"............"”

Come to think of it, the Evil God was subjected to a group assault of the sparkling Rosarins. Moreover, Rosarin-chan implanted trauma in Lavi-kun through the Kabaddi.

Oh my goodness.

Asking Lavi-kun who is like this to find Rosarin-chan would be nothing but harassment.

“Lavi-kun..."

As soon as I touched him, images started to flow within my mind.

This was a story about boys.

A lonely god, who was a boy, descended to the surface on a whim.

"Who are you? Let's play together?”

And so, the god became friends with the boy. Despite knowing it was futile, the god continued to visit the boy.

The boy, unnoticed, grew into a young man and was conscripted.

It was a time of warfare, and the conscription of young men, being captured in enemy territory, and brutally killed were not uncommon occurrences.

What made it unfortunate for the enemy nation was that the young man was special and dear to the god. They killed him without knowing this.

Finding the lifeless body of the young man, the god cried. Losing the first precious friend, the god cried and cried... and harbored hatred.

The young man was a man who disliked conflict.

The god hated the country that dragged the young man into war.

The god hated the people who captured and killed the young man.

The god hated the countries that allowed such cruelty.

Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate.

In the first place, "love" and "hatred" are two sides of the same coin, and the god was a very unstable existence. With the loss of something precious, that balance tilted drastically, and the god transformed into an Evil God, bringing calamity to the world.

When his sanity returned, both the country where the young man once lived and the enemy nation had been annihilated.

"Lavias, you, as a god, have done something unforgivable. You must face punishment."

The other gods bestowed punishment... They assigned the role of being continually killed as the Demon King to the god who had become an Evil God. By being killed, the god purified the world they had tainted. When impurity accumulated again, they would be born into something suitable and become the Demon King, only to be killed once more.

Conversely, it was a relief. He wanted punishment. His sins were far from something that could be atoned for.

Kill me... I wanted punishment. I endured countless ages that seemed to stretch into eternity. How many times was I killed... I don't know.

"The world isn't that cruel. I hope you find liberation. I want to live as myself."

The last Demon King rejected the Evil God, not wanting to live as the Demon King.

"Live among the people."

The Salvation Saintess sealed the Evil God, instructing him to live among his descendants.

Within the seal, the Evil God observed human activities. There were good people. There were cruel people. There were kind people.

He remembered the young man who had been important to him.

They remembered that they loved the world and its people.

The Salvation Saintess was cruel. It would have been much easier to continue being killed as the Demon King. He didn't want to remember. He was reminded of how terrible he had been.

And then, the seal began to loosen. Occasionally, the Evil God would venture outside, sometimes in place of a young man. He had to release the accumulated impurities in the world, and reluctantly planted "seeds" in other humans. The young man... Judas noticed this and withdrew into seclusion in the sanctuary.

Regarding his engagement, rumors spread that he had been rejected, but in reality, he distanced himself out of fear of the impact on his fiancée.

Continuing to curse himself for only being able to disrupt people's lives, the god encountered light.

"Please be my friend!!"

It was a girl with a very beautiful soul.

"You are not filthy. Don't deny it. It's a bit late for me to realize that I'm the weird one... but I don't think you are filthy. In fact, you're pure and kind, Evi-san."

To someone as tainted as himself, receiving such kind words meant a lot.

"I... I won't kill you. I am a Hero summoned to save you. The Summoning of Heroes calls forth 'those who meet the conditions.' It's true that in the past, Hero summonings called forth 'those who can defeat the Evil,' so it's understandable if you have misunderstood. But if the goal was just to kill you, both the Salvation Saintess and Rosarin-chan could have done it. Remember that."

Summoned as a Hero, she declared that she would become a Hero to save the god... the Demon King.

"Watase Rinka is the Hero who will save you. Someday, I'll make sure to make Evi-san say, 'I want to live with you, Rinka'! "

She said she would become the Hero to save him. He laughed when she said she wanted him to live.

"I can do it. If Lavi-kun truly wishes it, I will be on your side, Lavi-kun!”

She said she would be on his side.

For the first time, she made him think, "I want to live" together with her. She gave him kind feelings, heartfelt gifts, and love. He felt happy, and he wished for a future with her.

"Rinka?"

Before he knew it, I was back in Lavi-kun's place.

"Tonnuuraaahh!!"

Well, you know? I'm aware that I'm acting weird. But, it's like, the sweetness, the heartache, and the bittersweetness are just... Tonnuuraaahh!!

No, seriously, it's a mix of joy and embarrassment... Tonnuuraaahh!!

While Lavi-kun and Judas-sama were bewildered watching me roll around in the grass, I think it can't be helped. I saw something amazing. Also, I was embarrassed about the misunderstanding!!
