Ewelynne de Blanche.
She is the eldest daughter of Prince Blanche, who rule the Principality of Agreable. She is sixteen years old. Much like her mother, Lady Margaery, she has a gentle personality. I've known her since she was a child, and she's more like a sister to me than a friend.
I had expected it, but I was skeptical. Normally, you wouldn't expect a Prince’s daughter to be working at an inn.

“Lady Ewelynne…?”

I called out to Giselle, who couldn't hide her confusion, "Giselle, take off your disguise.”
When Lady Ewelynne saw her with her disguise removed, she looked as if she wanted to say, "I knew it.” Perhaps she had noticed.

“It is an honor to meet you again, Lady Ewelynne.”
“Long time no see, Giselle.”
“Please forgive… my rude attitude I had shown towards you, Lady Ewelynne.”

"You were just trying to protect your precious master, weren't you?” She said to Giselle, who bowed her head deeply. Then, she turned back to me with a sorrowful expression.

“Big sister Elle…”

I caught Ewelynne, who ran to me vigorously, in my arms. She looked at me as if she was about to start crying. She has always been a crier, but this time I don't know the reason. It was her maid, Uzette, who looked at me as if she wanted to plead for help. She had changed her appearance, and now she looked like someone I used to know.

“Young lady, Lady Giselle is bewildered.”
“I, I’m sorry…”
“No, it’s fine.”

I don't know where to start. For the time being, I tried to get away from her by removing her arms, but she insisted, "I don't want to!”
Even though she hadn't been this selfish since she had came of age.
I thought she had grown up, but it seems she hasn’t changed at all.
When I patted her on the head, Ewelynne smiled in relief.

“Big sister, why are you living here as a commoner? Why did Duke Olivier come looking for you?”
“Lady Ewelynne, please calm down.”
“Just what had happened in the Ansanse Kingdom?”

She kept on asking by I only shook my head.
Her worries about me had reached my heart, but I cannot tell her anything.

“I’m sorry. I cannot tell you anything…”
“Why do you treat me as a stranger! Please treat me like you used to!”

Even though falsely accused, I am an outcast. And judging by the way my Father came across me just the other day, there's a good chance he’s still looking for me. But I can't call myself a Duke’s daughter, because I've experienced a painful conviction.
It's more correct to say that I don't want to call myself that, though.
I'm just a commoner, and I can't talk to Ewelynne casually.

“For reasons, I cannot treat you as I u…”

My words were choked by Ewelynne’s wet eyes.
I’m weak against this face.
I don't know what to do when she gives me a look that sparks my protectiveness towards her.
From behind me, Giselle told me, "Lady Elle, it would be rude to continue any further.”
Apparently, there are no allies for me here.

“I get it, so let go of me first, Ewe.”

I told her to let go, but she said, "Big sister Elle!” and hugged me even more tightly, so I could only smile bitterly. We haven't seen each other in less than a year, so how can she be so childish?

“So, just what happened in the Ansanse…”
“Sorry, I can’t tell you.”
“Can’t I help you at all?”
“That’s not it. It’s just… I will accept your feelings only.”

I can't have the Principality of Agreable involved in a scandal that occurred in the Ansanse Kingdom. I cannot tell her that the country known as the Magic Powerhouse was almost ruined by a forbidden spell.
With a sad expression on her face, “If you say so…” she nodded her head.

“Please make sure to rely on me if there’s anything you need.”
“Thank you.”

When I stroked her head, Ewelynne’s cheeks relaxed as she said, "That much is nothing between us.” while puffing out her chest.

“Rather than talking about me, let me hear your story, Ewe. Why was a noble lady like you working at the inn?”
