Around the time the date changed, the person who came to visit me in my room was someone who worked at Ewe’s inn.
She bowed deeply and said, "My name is Uzette. I've come to welcome you on behalf of Lady Ewe," she said, looking up.
Lady Ewe, huh.
I patted Giselle's back, who showed vigilance.

"Can I take her with me?”
"'No problem.”
"I see. Then show us the way.”

With a small nod, Uzette turned around and started walking. I patted Giselle on the back, who was still very alert, and said, "Giselle, let's go.”
She looked as if she's wondering why I'm so calm and nodded reluctantly.

“... Understood.”

The two of us followed Uzette. As we left the inn, Giselle asked in a low voice, "Where are you taking us?", but Uzette doesn't answer the question and continued walking.
I guess she had been instructed not to answer questions.

I soothed the Giselle who kept on glaring. Uzette, who was looking at us said, “You two get along, don’t you?”. Her expression was very calm. She turned around and started walking again, and I followed her to the clock tower which I had climbed in the evening.

While Giselle was surprised, Uzette unlocked the clock tower. The door, which opened with a dull clang, was dimly lit. She bowed deeply and said, "Come in. You can find her at the top of this tower.” Giselle looked confused, but I pulled her by the hand and went inside.

"Please be careful on the stairs.”
"Thank you.”

I guess she's following from behind, so she can help us if we fall. I didn't think I'd have to climb the stairs twice in one day.
Maybe I should have used magic to get up there.
I thought about that, but quickly gave up. At this time of day, there were a good number of people walking around outside. If they saw me, I might get in trouble, so I had to climb up by myself.

I said sarcastically. Uzette, raised her eyebrows and said, “You jest. She just wants to meet you as soon as possible.” with a smile.
As I continued to climb the stairs, a door leading to the observatory appeared. It was Uzette who opened it for us.

“I’m sorry to have kept you waiting.”

I called out to Ewe, who was gazing at the Arburn cityscape in a daze.
Her eyes turned red as she turned around.

“It’s been a long time, is I guess what I should be saying?”
“That is my line.”

Giselle let out a confused sound at the voice of the younger woman, which was higher than usual.
Ewe giggled and showed a perfect curtsy of a noble lady.

“It’s been a while, Lady Gabrielle.”

It really seems that my disguise is not working.
I need to rethink my disguise as soon as possible. With that in mind, I changed my hair color and eye color back.
I returned the bow to the lady before me.

“Long time no see, Lady Ewelynne.”

The one who looked up was a young lady with black hair and red eyes. Lady Margaery’s beloved daughter.
