Catastie Day 3: Catastie Cityscape
Yesterday, I received hospitality from the Catastie Trade Guild and the Darshe Principality Embassy.
I had some alcohol at the embassy's reception, but it seems my body can handle it to some extent.
However, I don't intend to drink like a fool.
Now, what should I do today?

"Good morning, Lady Lily."

"Good morning, Alizée. What are the plans for today?"

"From today until the last day, you're free to do as you please. Feel free to explore as you wish as long as you are with the escort."

"Understood. And what about you, Alizée?"

"I'll be heading to the Catastie Trade Guild to negotiate regarding the city's imports and exports with their representative."

"Sounds like work..."

"I didn't come here just to play, so please don't worry."

After breakfast and tidying up, Alizée promptly left.
Hmm, as agile as ever.
Now, what should I do?

"Lady Lily, what will you do?"

"For now, I think I'll wander around the city. Maybe I'll come across something interesting."

"Understood. Just make sure not to wander into alleyways, okay?"

"I got it, Keuko."

We changed into clothes suitable for strolling around the city and left the inn.
The streets of Catastie, seen anew, were a mix of architectural styles I saw in Vardmoi and those I've never seen before, creating an exotic atmosphere.
According to what I heard at the inn, the part of the city near the entrance is the original Catastie, built in the architectural style of this country.
As trade with foreign countries expanded, architectural styles from other places also influenced the culture, resulting in the current mix of styles.
There are several trading partners, including the Darshe Principality, and apparently, there are quite a variety of buildings.
If you go to the restaurant district, you can enjoy various cuisines from different countries.
They say it's tailored to the taste of the people in this country, even though it's called "original."

For lunch, I decided to explore the city until we found a promising-looking restaurant in the restaurant district.
The main street of the city was lined with various shops.
There were many jewelry stores and clothing stores, showcasing each country's unique culture.
I tried entering a few shops out of curiosity, and I found various items I have not seen in Vardmoi before.
In addition to ordinary jewelry like rings, necklaces, and brooches, there were also items like tiaras and headpieces with adjustable strings for gemstones.
As for clothing, besides the local attire, there were garments resembling cheongsam, ao dai, combinations of long tight skirts and jackets with V-shaped collars, and colorful shawls, among many others.
There were also many beautifully embroidered clothes, making me wonder if I should hire embroiderers at our place.
Furthermore, souvenir shops seemed to handle traditional crafts from various countries.
They said you could buy them at street vendors too, but they advised against it if you're not confident in discerning quality, as there might be counterfeit or low-quality items mixed in.
Even though I'm a merchant myself, my eye for quality isn't the best...

Anyway, just strolling along the main street on the third day morning was already quite exhausting.
But it might have been worth it.
Now, what should I do for lunch?
