Hey everybody,

Brudi is back with a short poll follow-up! First of all, thank you so much for your kind feedback regarding our first dev diary and the big engagement with the poll. So wholesome! Now the poll results left some of you with question marks around their heads, which I want to take care of today.

Almost 70% of you don’t want to see the quests before they have a certain level of polish, which is great for us! This reduces the extra work and disruption of work processes for every build, thus speeding us up to deliver the final Wild Life experience earlier. But don’t worry,  we still want our patrons to give feedback for the quests and have them test the content before everybody else. This is why we came up with the following release cycle.

We will be releasing our quests in batches. These will drop with every 3rd or 4th Patreon build. The quality will be of what we think is minimum with the first batch, and rise with the following batches. This means our first quest batch will be available for you in Q1 of 2023 and has the following features.

First quest batch

  • Text dialogues
  • Relevant sex minigames
  • Routines
  • Placeholder combat
  • Placeholder items
  • Quest logic
  • Placeholder characters for the most part

Coming with later batches

  • Sound Effects
  • Cutscenes
  • Combat encounters
  • Items and interacts
  • Special dialogue actions like kisses or slaps
  • Final characters with outfits

Not happening before end of production

  • Voiced dialogues

The quests in the first batch will be focused around the Lake Village and Warrior Village. The content will be equally spread between Max and Maya.

I hope this follow-up made things clear for everybody. If there are any questions, leave them in the comments. Thanks for your time again.

See you around,

Brudi and the rest of the team

Brudi, welcome aboard! Completely amped up about seeing the quests come to life. These right here will make it much easier to talk about the game to those that seem a bit squeamish about the adult gaming genre. Look forward to getting started in the story!

Sounds great. Really nice to have a plan with most of us in agreement. Who knows, by reducing the workload you guys might even come up with things you have not even thought of yet.

Spanky

This seems like a reasonable idea to me. I have no further questions and look forward to the results!

hi Brudi ! absolutely perfect ! !! nice idea ! does you have an provisional schedule with some dates or benchmarks until a final release of the game?

Anonymous

Will this eventually be developed this into VR? For example, like your Christmas gift

TheDumbToad

This is just SO EXCITING! Edit: As always, I love the transparancy and communication.

I was one that wanted to see them implemented, but if it saves you guys time to focus on delivering the game quicker, then I'm fine with that.

I dont know where to ask, thats why I do it here. I played the Steam Demo, then I heard about Updates of this game and got patreon for 10$ and when I play the game again (installed it through the wildlife launcher, also logged in there for the special build), everything is the same, no new content, no new missions... for what did i pay 10$ ? its not a big deal since i want to support this project, just wanted to know if i am missing something also i tried the tier1 and public build... why is the public build censored and demo on steam not, makes no sense to me

Naked_SoNUshka

Great! I like your idea of releasing your quests in batches. I think it would be quite appropriate

The demo is the same, we are working on the main game and quests for the game world but thats obviously still in progress and will take around 2 years to finish. The main extra in the patreon builds is the sandbox that you can use to make a ton of custom things, you can check our discord out to see what other users have been creating with it :)

bigfr0g

oh thanks for your reply! i didn't check out the sandbox until you mentioned it, great stuff ;-)
